HARRISON WOAN

After a stand-out amateur career that included representing England Boys internationally, Harrison turned professional in 2017, playing off +3. He decided to join the Alps Tour in order to gain experience of competing against the top players in Europe.

Golf is nothing if not unpredictable and Harrison had to sit out much of the 2018 season after he dislocated a knee. But towards the end of 2019 it became clear that Harrison had not wasted his enforced break and was back, fully fit and building momentum again. He posted a 4th place finish at the Saint Malo Open with rounds of 68, 70, 69, and 69. He also posted a score of 63 (-8) to secure 6th place at the Q School Final at La Cala Resort.

Qualifying schools are a super-pressurised environment, in some ways even more so than a normal tournament round; the stakes are higher and the room for error is non existent. Harrison's score of 63 is therefore all the more impressive, given his dislocated knee and consequent missed season. We're eagerly looking forward to seeing what 2020–21 brings as he competes across both the Alps and EuroPro Tours.
