Growing up in the depths of Cornwall near Sennen Cove, it was only a matter of time before George's passion for surfing took over. From the age of 10 George surrounded himself with some of the countries top professional surfers - Seb Smart, Mike Lay, James Parry and Sam Bleakley to name just a few. Surfing everyday with these guys opened George's eyes to a career in surfing and since the beginning they've helped guide and mentor George into becoming one of the countries brightest prospects.
2020 has already been a big year for George, achieving a childhood goal of a front cover on the 25 year anniversary edition of Carve Magazine. This appearance sparked an invitation to join LOST MAYHEM Surfboards as their first UK team rider.
After a 2nd place in the English Nationals as a junior and a 5th place in his first year competing in the Men's Open, George now has his sights set firmly on representing England in the ISA World Championships. One of George's main goals is also to represent team GB in the 2024 Olympic Games.
We are thrilled to be representing a talent like George. He is certainly one of Britain's most exciting and progressive surfers and we look forward to working alongside him as he prepares for the 2021 season.
